Weeks before your wedding, we sit down with you — and your planner, if you have one — and walk the entire day hour by hour. We're not just confirming ceremony and reception times; we're building in real buffer for golden hour portraits, for family formals that always take ten minutes longer than anyone expects, and for the quiet quarter-hour we always try to protect just for the two of you.

Scouting the Light (and the Backup Plan)

Whether your wedding is here in the Rio Grande Valley or somewhere we're flying in for, we scout the venue — in person when we can, virtually when we can't — looking for where the light will fall at the hours you'll actually be standing there. We also map a backup spot, because South Texas weather doesn't always cooperate, and the worst time to look for a covered patio is mid-ceremony in the rain.

Getting Our Own Team on the Same Page

Before we ever arrive, our photo and video team has already talked through the day together — who's covering what, where we're each standing for the vows, who's getting the reception entrance and from which angle. That conversation happens in the planning stage, not whispered between us during your first dance.

Checking in With Everyone Else

We reach out to your other vendors — planner, DJ, hair and makeup — to confirm timing and make sure everyone's working from the same schedule. A wedding runs on a dozen small handoffs throughout the day, and most of them go unnoticed when they work. They only get noticed when they don't.
